Holiday Art

In this series the artist researches the specific day in which she has been hired. After an amalgamation of information, the artist performs a series of ritualistic actions that embody the day. Beddall works as an availabilist and multiculturalist, using personal belongings and experiences to convey each day.

The Box Project

In an attempt to aid the economy by increasing the assets of my collectors, I donated over 2 billion dollars worth of art in the form of 1,000 tagged and cataloged handmade paper boxes. The first 500 boxes were distributed on Wall Street in New York City, the last 500 at Freedom Plaza and McPherson Square in Washington DC.
Each box was documented with a photo, number, name, date, materials used, dimensions, and price. Collectors received a box in exchange for  their signature on a line titled In the collection of, located at the bottom of each page in the catalog.
I also created an artist's business suit for my distribution and future display of the project.

Serving Art

The menu of each participating restaurant is reorganized to offer small works of art at the same prices of the food sold. Four artists make up the kitchen, experts in different mediums -- music, illustration, sculpture, painting, etc. Customers choose items from the updated menu and communicate any preferences to the server who collaborates with the kitchen to create the custom order of art.

Wham Bam Thank-You Ma'am

Wham Bam Thank-You Ma'am was birthed out of the Allentown FUSE artist residency with Gallery 320. The audience is filmed and recorded interacting with Ma'am's dressing room. After putting on Ma'am's face and creating a portrait on her mirror, I change into her cardboard couture costume, held in place by an apron (this is work after all). She poses to please her audience, lighting herself with other reflective refuse. After this display, Ma'am sticks true to her name and personally thanks everyone for coming, showering them with other compliments, they've done so well!

Artgeology - Larbkin

Performed in Shingletown Woods, PA. This character is based off a baboon/rhino creature that once lived in the Blue Mountains of Australia. Hunted to extinction by way of decapitation, Larbkin corpses were dug up and harvested as medicine. Artgeologists uncovered that this practice poisoned the villagers and eventually killed them all.

Artgeology - Mars

Multiple samples recovered from Mars prove life exists! Beddall's first expedition to Mars, PA uncovered intelligent life with advanced transportation and distillery methods. As the team of artaeological diggers sifted through the 3-dimentional surface they found small creatures with excellent musical talent, hypothesized to be spiders.

2 Minute Party

2:00 parties include invitations for passersby, hats, confetti, disco ball, poppers, noise makers, leis, and silly string. Clean up is essential after the 2:00 is up.

Portraits

Self portraits of the face. After creating these works in make-up, Beddall moved to acrylics and created a dress to wipe her residue on. This dress also acts as a self-portrait and part of the artist's wearable collection of costumes.
