Pittsburgh’s Performance Art Festival (PGH·PAF) is a FREE weekend long event featuring site-specific performances and art interventions by multi-media artists from around the world. 1/3 of artists highlighted are from Allegheny County, 1/3 from the USA, and 1/3 international! PGH·PAF is focused on showcasing a variety of performance practices from these three communities to expose our inter-connectivity through sociopolitical works.
Applicants are encouraged to submit living art, durational and time-based performances, interactive new-media, installations, documentations, collaborative works, among other forms of performance. Socially minded and political works are supported.
Selected artists are be provided a materials stipend, housing, and meals for the days of the festival.
